The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship program is the oldest national fellowship that supports graduate education in STEM and social science disciplines. Fellows receive a three-year annual stipend of $34,000. Women, under-represented minorities and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply. This session will introduce students to the program, the application process and offer tips for submitting a competitive application. Q&A with fellowship recipients is also included. Students of any class-standing are invited to attend, especially rising 4th-year students and recent graduates who intend to submit applications in October 2020.
